The Hydro Soak Sets are tools for pre-cleaning the ends of laparoscopic instruments and EndoWrist® arms. To prevent blood residue or other contamination from coagulating after a procedure in the OR, it is important that instruments be incorporated into the cleaning process as soon as possible. By using the Hydro Soak Sets, pre-cleaning already starts in the OR and during transport to the CSA, which promotes the cleaning process in the CSA. By filling the Hydro Soak Sets with demineralized water and a detergent, the end of an instrument is kept moist during transport and pre-cleaned.
