Contaminated Transportation
After the medical instruments have been used in the OR or the outpatient clinic, the medical instruments or instrument sets are transported back to the CSSD via the waste transport. It is important that the contaminated goods are transported in a closed container or transport vehicle to prevent the risk of the spread of microorganisms and other contamination hazards. It is imperative that the correct transport vehicles and means of transport are used.
