The Type 1 Plasma Indicator is designed to be used as a process indicator for instrument sets or endoscopes sterilized by plasma sterilization. The ink on the indicator changes from light pink to light yellow when the indicator has been in contact with the sterilization medium. This is a type 1 chemical indicator.
